Sqn Minibus Appeal gets into gear

Staff, cadets and the Civilian Committee are stepping up the campaign to raise funds for a much-needed squadron minibus. Having a Squadron-owned vehicle will reduce the costs of vehicle hire for most of our current activities—recently we have hired minibuses for a NewForest DofE expedition, flying at RAF Boscombe Down and next weekend will be taking 15 or so cadets to the Wing Cross Country Championships at RAF Kenley. Not only that, but our own transport will give us huge flexibility to visit RAF museums, camps, stations, sport venues and adventurous training activity sites.

Thinking caps required!
Staff and Cadets are asked to think up fund-raising ideas which will ideally receive press coverage or local community support. Parents of cadets are also being asked to contribute to ideas and short of a 'secret millionaire' stepping forward a lot of fun activities and hard work lie ahead!
Please send the picture on this article to friends, supporters and family to help promote the campaign! (It's an 'artist's impression' — but soon to be a reality we hope).
